Weiß jemand wie die P+R Parkplätze Mettingen/Oberesslingen/Esslingen ausgelastet sind an Spieltagen? Wir fahren direkt nachm Spiel nach München und müssen schnell wegkommen. Bin über jeden Tipp dankbar!
Würde Obertürkheim empfehlen. Viele Parkplätze nahe des Bahnhofs, man ist von dort sehr schnell auf der B10/A8. Und selbst wenn die S-Bahnen ausfallen (sind leider unzuverlässig geworden), kann man dahin sonst auch gut laufen.
Meine ersten Eindrücke:
Stadien: Waren jetzt erst in 2, aber absoluter Wahnsinn, was die hingestellt haben für "nur" 4 Wochen. Also jedes scheint architektonisch noch paar Besonderheiten zu haben.
Organisation: Ich war ja anfangs sehr speptisch, ob Katar mit den Menschenmassen klar kommt. Aber man muss sagen, überall stehen irgendwelche Leute, die den Weg weisen. Flughafen, Metros und Busse scheinen sehr zuverlässig zu laufen. Gewöhnungsbedürftig ist, dass man teils riesige Umwege leitet und sehr viel in irgendwelchen mit Metallzäunen abgesperrten Bereichen wartet (Lenkung der Menschenmassen). Haben gestern 2,5 Std. für die 25km vom Stadion zum Schiff gebraucht. Das nervt einen ungeduldigen Menschen wie mich manchmal, aber ist natürlich viel besser als Chaos.
Fans: es sind sehr viele Amerikaner hier (USA, Kanada, Mexiko, Brasilien, Argentinien) und auch viele Asiaten (Saudis, Japaner, Koreaner). Die Katar-Diskussionen scheinen nur uns Europäer abgeschreckt zu haben.
Atmosphäre: Mir ist es zu viel kitschiges Stadionprogramm und keine Ahnung, wie die Einheimischen das ohne Alkohol ertragen (oder wie sie zu saulauter Musik nüchtern tanzen können). Das einheimische Publikum scheint aber hauptsächlich an Selfies etc. interessiert zu sein (gerne tragen sie Fanmaterial der Mannachaften), scheint also zu passen. Glaube aber schon, dass die wirklich mal paar WM-Spiele sehen wollen, gekauft wirken sie nicht.
Preise: Ein 0,4 Heineken auf unserem Schiff kostet 16,10€...
Wetter: absolut mega. 15-20 °C nachts, 25-30 tagsüber, nicht zu schwül. Völlig unverständlich, warum sie sowohl Stadien als auch Öffis so krass runterkühlen...

Die FIFA kann doch einfach nach katarischem Recht gegen die katarische Regierung klagen, ich denke es dürfte ein Leichtes sein hier zu einem rechtlich unanfechtbaren Urteil zu kommen
Ich bin mir sicher, dass die FIFA den Vertrag mit Katar auf Basis von Schweizer Recht gemacht hat, dementsprechend können sie sich die entgangenen Beträge von Budweiser von Katar zurückholen.
Für die Katarer sind das Peanuts, denen geht es ums Prinzip "kein Alkohol".

Hoffe man kann sein Gepäck schon vor 15:00 auf dem Dampfer abgeben...
Das hoffen wir auch. Wir landen morgens gegen 4 Uhr und um 16 Uhr ist das erste Spiel. Ideal wäre es, wenn man schon morgens am Pool / an der Bar abhängen dürfte. Da bin ich nicht so optimistisch. Dass sie wenigstens das Gepäck in Empfang nehmen, hoffe ich doch schwer.
Mir macht es eher Sorgen, dass man dort nicht mit Uber etc hinkommt sondern auf den Shuttle (Kann man laufen?). Hoffe da wartet man nicht immer ewig, vorallem um 2 Uhr nach dem 22 Uhr Spiel.
Wenn ich die Infos (von der MSC World Europa) hier richtig verstehe, dann dürfen Uber-Fahrer direkt zum Schiffsanleger fahren.

Ich habe gerade mal kurz gegoogelt, wer eigentlich die WM Spiele übertragen wird, aber mehr als dass die Rechte für alle Spiele bei der Telekom liegen und 48 Spiele (Eröffnungsspiel, alle Spiele mit deutscher Beteiligung, vermutlich auch Finale) im frei empfangbaren Fernsehen kommen werden, habe ich nicht gefunden. Ist da schon mehr bekannt?
Magenta hat 16 Spiele exklusiv, davon sind 8 Parallelspiele am letzten Gruppenspieltag.
Die restlichen 8 Exklusivspiele von Magenta sind noch nicht festgelegt.
Alle deutschen Spiele, Eröffnungsspiel, Halbfinals und Finale werden auf jeden Fall von ARD oder ZDF übertragen.

Ich bin schon am überlegen, was wir in der Zeit der Ankunft am Flughafen (3 Uhr nachts) bis 15 Uhr alles so anstellen sollen
Bei uns ist es genauso. Nur dass wir um 16 und um 22 Uhr am Ankunftstag noch zu Spielen gehen. Ich hoffe jetzt einfach mal, dass wir direkt morgens das Gepäck an der Rezeption abgeben können und den Tag an Pool und Bar verbringen können.
Hatten uns auch die Frage gestellt, ob wir schon eine Nacht früher buchen sollen, aber wann ist man effektiv im Hotel, wenn der Flug um 3:10 Uhr landet (wir fliegen von Frankfurt, da kann man eigentlich auf mindestens eine Stunde Verspätung wetten) plus Passkontrolle plus Gepäckabholung? Kann dann auch locker 6 Uhr sein, bis man auf dem Schiff ist. Und 400€ für paar Stunden Schlaf, die man sonst auch am Pool kriegen kann, ist grenzwertig. Deshalb unsere Entscheidung gegen eine weitere Nacht.
Ist vor dem Rückflug bei uns ähnlich. Flug geht um 7:30 Uhr morgens, am Abend vorher sind wir um 22 Uhr noch bei Deutschland-Spanien im Al-Bayt und wir haben auch entschieden, wegen maximal 3 Stunden Schlaf keine Extranacht zu buchen.
