The UEFA Control, Ethics and Disciplinary Body (CEDB) has taken the following decisions:
Match: FC Barcelona vs. Eintracht Frankfurt (2:1), 09.12.2025, UEFA Champions League 2025/2026
Charges against Eintracht Frankfurt:
Throwing of objects, Art. 16(2)(b) of UEFA Disciplinary Regulations (DR)
Lighting of fireworks, Art. 16(2)(c) DR
Acts of damage caused to the stadium and/or its installations, Art. 16(2)(f) DR
Decision:
The CEDB has decided:
To order the enforcement of the suspended disciplinary measure imposed by the Control, Ethics and Disciplinary Body in its decision of 4 February 2025 for lighting and throwing of fireworks and crowd disturbance, i.e. to ban Eintracht Frankfurt from selling tickets to its away supporters for the next one (1) UEFA club competition match.
To fine Eintracht Frankfurt €30,000 and to ban Eintracht Frankfurt from selling tickets to its away supporters for one (1) additional UEFA club competition match, for lighting of fireworks and throwing of objects.
To fine Eintracht Frankfurt €8,000 for acts of damage.
To order Eintracht Frankfurt to contact FC Barcelona within 30 days from the notification of this decision for the settlement of the damages caused by its supporters in the away’s sector toilets.
