New Tickets and Packages on Sale Thursday, 16 January at 6pm CET

In Japan and around the world, record-breaking interest is paving the Road to Tokyo as athletes qualify, stadiums near completion and fans plan to experience the Games in nearly 6-months.

CoSport is glad to have received newly-released tickets from the Tokyo 2020 Organising Committee so that you may join them at your favourite events, from Gymnastics to Athletics, or with inclusive ticket packages.

Sales in the EU will start Thursday 16 January at 6pm CET to what is expected to be high demand.
Here's what you need to know:
Queue: Customers will be placed into queue at 6pm CET or beginning at 5:30pm may enter a waiting room for processing into the queue.
Live Sale: When a queue enters the sale, customers will have time to purchase newly-available tickets on a first come-first served basis.
Packages: Newly-updated Hotel and Hospitality Pass packages, inclusive of event tickets, accommodation options and exclusive hospitality experiences, will also be available under https://jetsetsports.us4.list-manage.com/track/click?u=…1a&e=bdee65fbf0.

Mal eine Frage an die Olympia-Experten hier, weil ich wirklich noch nie versucht habe zu Olympischen Spielen zu fahren. Sind diese Preise und Bestellschwierigkeiten von denen ihr hier redet für Olympische Sommerspiele normal? Mir kommt das alles EXTREM teuer und komplex vor!

Meine Laienvorstellung war, dass das ungefähr so aussieht:
- Events relativ günstig bis auf ein paar wenige teure Topevents (Zeremonien, Leichtathletik-Entscheidungen)
- Tickets ebenfalls bis auf wenige Events relativ einfach zu bekommen, vor allem über Reiseveranstalter
- Tickets einfacher zu bekommen, je früher man sich organisiert
- Größter Kostentreiber sind Hotels

So wie ihr das hier beschreibt klingt es ja eher so, als ob alle Events eher teuer sind (also teurer als Sitzplätze bei einem Bundesliga-Spiel und teilweise in die hunderte von Euro gehend). Die Ticketbeschaffung klingt zerstückelt und kompliziert. Und obwohl das hier tooor ist scheint ihr alle ja echt ordentlich zu ackern zu müssen um an Tickets zu kommen.

Also: Ist Tokio für olympische Verhältnisse außergewöhnlich teuer / hoch nachgefragt / kompliziert?

Ich finde es hängt von der Sportart ab. Tickets für Handball oder Hockey bekommst du quasi hinterhergeschmissen, willst du dagegen Herren-Basketball sehen zahlst du dich dumm und dämlich. Leichtathletik in den günstigen Kategorien ist meist bezahlbar, aber du kannst auch 942 Euro fürs 100 Meter Finale zahlen
Und insgesamt ist es sehr häppchenweise, aber durchaus machbar, wenn man sich ein wenig kümmert!

Gute Auswahl heute. Gibt sogar Bahnradfahren

On December 9th 2019, (10am IST) Elämys Group will launch Phase 2 of Sales. The Web Shop will re-open on both platforms for Ticket Only Sales and Package Sales.
BOXING
The Ticket Only Sales will be mainly focused on Boxing as the schedule and allocations have now been granted. There will be other sessions for different sports available in the web shop, however the ticket numbers are low and limited.
HOCKEY – The draw for the competition schedule for Hockey has not taken place yet therefore we do not know the sessions that Ireland will participate in. The Follow My Team option that is given from the Organising Committee has been purchased, however numbers are very limited and do not meet the demand that we have received to date. Therefore Hockey will not feature in the shop until the draw for the matches have taken place. As soon as we have received the schedule we will send a notification to our Hockey Fan’s Mailing list. We do not have a wait list of tickets requested with the Organising Committee. If/When these requests are allocated to us we will send a notification to our mailing list and current customers.

Hat schonmal jemand Bahnradfahren gesehen irgendwo?

Bei mir kam eine Bestätigung direkt danach per Mail. Bin aber auch nicht rausgeflogen beim Bezahlen.

Beckenschwimmen nicht.

Wasserball, Springen, Synchron ja.

Im Hacker sind die späteren Reservierungen am Anstich-Samstag ab 18 Uhr erst. Wird allerdings trotzdem eng vom Stadion aus. Genauso wie das reinkommen ins Zelt mit einer größeren Gruppe ohne Reservierung

Wenn man noch ein paar Tage dranhängt, gibt es aktuell Direktflüge mit ANA ab Wien für 650 Euro. (Ab 12.8.)
Vielleicht für den ein oder anderen im süddeutschen Raum interessant!
