UEFA EURO 2028 + 2032

Uefa is due to announce the full match schedule for Euro 2028 next week but The Times has learnt that all the host nations will play their three group matches in their home countries. All countries bar the host nations will play group games at three different venues.

Wembley is not hosting any of the round-of-16 games but if England win their group and that knockout match they would return to the national stadium from the quarter-finals onwards. Both semi-finals and the final will also take place at the 90,000-seat venue.

Uefa will confirm that the opening match of the tournament will be played in Cardiff, and will ideally involve Wales.

Wenn sich alle Gastgeber qualifizieren, werden sie vermutlich auch als Gruppenkopf gesetzt, nehm ich an. Also nur zwei andere Nationen in Topf 1

Könnt aber ja auch einfacher sein, in Topf 2 dann Wales oder Irland zugelost zu werden anstatt als Gruppenkopf Frankreich oder Portugal zu bekommen

Genau ich meine Wales wird nicht gesetzt sein sondern nur England, Irland und Schottland wenn mein Gedächtnis mich gerade nicht verlässt.

Naja, nix Neues - was ja bei EM08 und EM12 ähnlich, als die meisten Topnationen den Lostopf 2 mit Handkuss genommen haben
